We're an independent sustainability consultancy based in North London. Small on purpose — because the work we do benefits from attention, not scale.
GoodCulture Eco exists because sustainability work deserves to be done honestly.
Too much of what passes for sustainability consultancy is either dressed-up box-ticking, or so abstract it's impossible to act on. We wanted to build something different — a small practice that treats every business as its own case, and never reaches for a template when a real answer is needed.
We work with companies across a range of sizes and sectors, from small independents to mid-sized organisations. Our clients tend to share a few things in common: they care about the impact they have, they want to do something about it, and they're tired of vague promises that don't add up to anything.
"Our job isn't to tell you what to think about sustainability. It's to help you work out what matters most for your business — and support you in doing it."
We don't hold product lines, sell software, or take commissions from anyone. Our only interest is helping our clients make real progress. When we recommend a course of action, it's because we think it's right — not because it benefits us commercially.
That independence matters more than it sounds. It means we can be honest with clients, including when the honest answer is that they don't need us for something. It's the reason most of our work comes through personal recommendations.
No parent company, no network, no commercial affiliations. Our only stake is the outcome.
Every engagement is led by a partner. The person you meet is the person who does the work.
We work with a limited number of clients at once. It keeps the quality high and the attention real.
Working with clients across London and the UK, with occasional work further afield.
We don't moralise about sustainability. We help businesses make better decisions, at their own pace.
A short list. But we take it seriously, and it shapes how we work with every client.
We tell clients what we actually think. If a target isn't achievable, we say so. If a plan isn't going to work, we say that too.
Numbers matter. We follow recognised standards, show our sources, and never dress up weak data as strong.
Perfect isn't on the table. Progress is. We help businesses make real improvements, not perfect ones.
Sustainability is a decade-long effort. We're here for the long haul, not the quarterly report.
The best work happens when we're genuinely embedded with a team, not parachuted in for a deliverable.
We don't shout. We do careful work, and let the results speak for themselves.
Hannah founded GoodCulture Eco after years of working across sustainability, operations and business transformation. She set up the practice because she wanted to do this work the way she believed it should be done — carefully, honestly, and without the noise.
She remains closely involved in every engagement. That's deliberate. It means clients always have a direct line to the person who understands their business, and the person responsible for the quality of the work.
Under her direction, the practice has stayed deliberately small. We work with a manageable number of clients, keep a small team of trusted collaborators, and prioritise doing things well over doing things at scale.
No sales pitch, no obligation — just an honest conversation about where your business stands and what might help.
